Source

Please confirm the source for Desmond "Des" Saunders's month and year of birth. You asserted it was August 1926 on Gerry Anderson Wiki, but failed to back it up. Thanks. Plankton55 (talk) 01:07, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Some things references can't find, as I've made clear to you on other parts of the 'net. guyus24 (talk / contribs) 13:05, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Then... how do you know he was born in August 1926. Is that so much to ask? Plankton55 (talk) 17:38, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes. Just whip the Ol' "Ciatation Needed" tag onto it and you should be fine. guyus24 (talk / contribs) 23:39, 28 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Maybe. So I'm assuming you didn't see it in a book of on a website? Otherwise you would have said. Is it a bogud source that you used? Plankton55 (talk) 00:28, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I do love bogud sources. You'll be surprised that you're not the only one snooping around on those fangled record lookup websites...guyus24 (talk / contribs) 08:29, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
You mean... You're implying that you found Des' month/year of birth on a fangled record lookup site? Plankton55 (talk) 12:00, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes. One of the ones you use over on supermarionation.wikia. Don't know which one, don't ask. guyus24 (talk / contribs) 12:16, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

You mean you can't remember? Plankton55 (talk) 12:27, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
I hardly see why that is relevant, but if it's any help I don't think I was paying attention to begin with. guyus24 (talk / contribs) 12:28, 29 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
It is relevant, because if it does get a citation needed tag on, we can add the source to it. Does this site ring any bells? https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/4I6mFGiHCUGJhIub5b2GgrzDbHA/appointments. If not, then the source you used could be a bogus one, meaning you shouldn't have added the info to the GA Wiki. Plankton55 (talk) 11:56, 31 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
I'll decide what's right and what's not, thank you very much. Stop being nosy.guyus24 (talk / contribs) 01:32, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
I'm not being nosy. The information can be used on WP in addition to the GA wiki. We could work together to find the source.
Speaking of WP, there are policies in place when it comes to using sources. The GA wiki I'll let you off on, because there are zero rules about using sources on there. Plankton55 (talk) 15:00, 1 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

"I'll let you off" ... Pfft, you can't even do anything on there so I'm in no trouble.guyus24 (talk / contribs) 01:10, 2 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes I can. What were you doing when you found the source? Plankton55 (talk) 10:04, 2 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Browsing the internet, obviously.guyus24 (talk / contribs) 10:08, 2 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
