Hello Guysmiley13, and welcome to Wikipedia! As you are getting started, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. You certainly don't need to read them all now, but it may help to keep them around as a future quick reference guide. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you are already excited about Wikipedia, you might want to consider being "adopted" by a more experienced editor or joining a WikiProject to collaborate with others in creating and improving articles of your interest. Click here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. Happy editing!  7  01:46, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

December 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Orangemike, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.  7  01:40, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I didn't edit or delete someone else's comment. I was adding my own trying to figure out why my page was deleted for a significant site that had multiple attributions. Now my comment was deleted from the Orangemike page, presumably by you. First a page I spent an hour working on deleted, than my comment trying to figure out why was deleted. This is nuts

Yes, you did. Please see here. You can add your question back at the bottom of OrangeMike's talk page if you desire. Please also note that your other additions of promotional material related to blowupradio.com have been removed. Please read the spam commentary in the welcome note I left you above.  7  01:46, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

wait? So let me get this straight, not only do you guys feel that BlowUpRadio.com isn't significant to get it's own page, but you removed it as spam from a page about NJ music...a site that plays NJ bands 24/7 is not significant to a NJ music page?

Let me speak to your manager. This is utterly ridiculous!

Also, by googling your name and those radio station names it is clear that you have a conflict of interest. Have you read any of our policies above, namely the COI, SPAM, and notability requirements for organizations?  7  01:56, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

conflict of interest? who do you think I am? I am a fan of BlowUpRadio.com, and know the people who run it, but not directly involved with the site.

Now let me speak to a supervisor. Someone who may actually realize significance of the page.

lovely, and no you don't reply.

I want the page reinstated. What do I need to do to get that done?

First, and foremost, it would help your cause if you would drop the disgruntled customer attitude. That won't help anything, and it won't result in your page being restored any quicker. I don't have a "supervisor". Wikipedia is staffed by voluneers in varying capacities, but everyone from the top to the bottom is required to follow the policies listed above. Also, as volunteers, we are not sitting here all day watching your talk page, so you will have to excuse any perceived delays. Lastly, the article you created has been deleted twice before by two different site admins (not by me). If you would like to contest the deletion of the article you should follow the procedures exactly listed at deletion review. Regards.  7  02:12, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Twice before? it was deleted earlier tonight. And it said someone put a page up two years ago. I did not put the page up two years ago. By my count that is two deletions total, and not twice before tonight. Is this your way of trying to say I'm wrong? Yeesch, all I'm trying to do is set up a page to represent a site that has helped thousands of NJ bands. Wikipedia may not understand the importance of helping the local music scene here in NJ, but no one else is doing it, including the "significant" NJ stations that are allowed to have pages.

Again, if you would like to contest the deletion of the article you should follow the procedures exactly as listed at deletion review. Regards.  7  05:59, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Orangemike. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:19, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:25, 17 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
