passport edit

Dear Gumol, tnx for uploading the "better" icelandic passport cover image. Would it be possible to also upload the (anonymized) holder's page? That would fit well as well! A specific question on what shuold be there: what is in the field Nationality? Icelandic in english, or Icelandic in Icelandic? or both? Rgds! L.tak (talk) 18:03, 4 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

The holders page in my passport can't be anonymized without allmost blocking it completely. But I just found offical images available from the national population registry. There it says that "Usage is permitted" ("Notkun er heimil."), so you should be permitted to use these images on Wikipedia just as you are allowed to use them in every other publication.
Nationality field is in Icelandic/English/French. Mine says: ÍSLENSKT/ICELANDIC/ISLANDAIS gumol (talk) 19:33, 4 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
