February 2012 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Human evolution, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. ~ neko-chan :3 (talk) 19:48, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Human evolution. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place "{{helpme}}" on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Human evolution was changed by Gulaygulay (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.963661 on 2012-02-23T19:52:02+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 19:52, 23 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Human evolution. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.   This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Human Evolution, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.   That was your last warning for putting inappropriate external links. You will soon be blocked from editing. Cadiomals (talk) 18:59, 4 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi edit

Hi Gulaygulay, welcome to wikipedia, it seems you are having some problems with your first edits. The reason people keep reverting your contributions is that we have some rather strict guidelines about what kinds of links to external websites are allowed in articles. This is because we only want to link to the best and most educational websites, and because if we allowed everybody to insert links to their favorite sites wikipedia would soon just be a directory of websites, that is not what we aim to be. Please take some time to read our basic policies, especially the policy about what wikipedia is not, and then I am sure you will gradually find a way to contribute to the project that doesn't require inserting external links. ·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 19:13, 4 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

March 2012 edit

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Human evolution. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. You have had this explained to you, STOP NOW. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
