Welcome! edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Ptolemaic Kingdom, have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! April 2024 edit

Please explain your contributions using a descriptive edit summary. Changing information on Wikipedia (such as numbers and dates) without explanation, as you did at Ptolemy, may be confused with vandalism. Thank you. CycloneYoris talk! 22:26, 14 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Ptolemaic Kingdom, you may be blocked from editing. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 06:09, 27 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Gtolrmy! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Ptolemaic Kingdom that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 06:09, 27 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism warning edit

Hello Gtolrmy. Your removals of content at Ptolemaic Kingdom appear to be vandalism. If this continues, a block is likely. EdJohnston (talk) 17:37, 28 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Blocked edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Per my warning above. You have continued to remove content at Ptolemaic Kingdom with a nonsensical edit summary. EdJohnston (talk) 15:20, 29 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
