Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the California Cancer Specialists Medical Group article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:42, 1 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Of course. Even if you own the copyright, it can't be placed here since virtually any copyright is incompatible with this site's free documentation license. In order to post that information here verbatim, you'd first have to release it over on your site per the instructions above...but that effectively voids your original copyright and leaves its use open for anyone else to use it. This also protects against false ownership claims of the copyright (not that I'm saying that's what you're doing by any means). There's a conflict of interest issue since you're involved with the company, but that's generally OK so long as the article doesn't try and promote the company. An article on the organization would be most welcome, so do feel free to write one in your own words. This gets us a fine new article and protects your original copyright. Thanks for asking and I hope this helps. PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:52, 1 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Prayergroup edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Prayergroup requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. DanielRigal (talk) 22:46, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
