Xavier University Article

I've reverted your edits to the article by restoring the tags and correcting the grammar in one section. The tags have not been addressed sufficiently hence their restoration is warranted. And to say something is "comprised of" something is incorrect. For proper use, note: Something can be said to comprise several other things. It is composed of these things. re: Xavier University Article

It is quite impolite to point out that someone's grammatical usage is outright incorrect, more so if the usage of the word in the preferred manner is becoming acceptable in modern English. Kindly refer to this reference. Other references we might be able to find as well are expressing the same approval with regards to the usage of the word. The issue on grammatical rules is fairly minimal compared to the work that needs to be done on the "Xavier University (Cagayan de Oro)" entry. We better dedicate more time on filling up this entry with appropriate information rather than showing off who has better command on the English language.--Groupbest (talk) 07:10, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Apologies if it seemed impolite, as that obviously wasn't intended. However, the fact remains that the so-called "preferred" grammatical usage is subject to criticism, if not flat-out wrong. The reference you itself states the proper and correct usage of the term while pointing out the criticism, as does other dictionary reference, enumeration of common errors, and Columbia Guide to Standard English. As for filling up the entry, there is a wealth of information available online. Previous edits show that what I have been doing is eliminating lifted/copyrighted material, as well as material not compliant with WP:NOT. Rmcsamson (talk) 09:33, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:MUSTlogo.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Thanks for uploading File:MUSTlogo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:53, 10 August 2009 (UTC).
