Hi. Yes I am half Swedish from my mothers side of the family but I am ashamed to say I don't speak it!! Swedish wikipedia has some excellent articles which would be great in English. Albert Ulrik Bååth I am just translating. Don't let little English stop you from en wikipedia. Good luck!! James Janderson 17:05, 6 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Claudia Nystad edit

When the redirect ist not deleted Claudia Künzel can't be moved. Please don't edit this page again --Yoda1893 (talk) 22:04, 22 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

The problem is that I was looking for the page about Claudia Nystad and found a large red error message, when I normally would just be redirected. That would have been more helpful. Also, I don't like to be told which pages I'm allowed to edit or not. /Grillo (talk) 22:14, 22 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
And this happens just after her victory in the olympics, when the page has been a red screen of death in more than 30 minutes. /Grillo (talk) 22:15, 22 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Diacritics edit

Hi Grillo, quick question for you since you're an admin on the Swedish Wikipedia. It looks like there was a sudden rush of Swedish editors coming in to comment at the Diacritics RfC... Was there an announcement of some sort made at sv? Thanks, --Elonka 17:57, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yes, see this. The topic name is a play on words, so you know... /Grillo (talk) 18:51, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

AIV report/harassment edit

Hey, I wanted to let you know that I went ahead and gave blocks to two of the IPs, and gave single 4im warnings to the other two (that had not edited as recently and had not received any prior warnings). At this point, presuming that it is the same user continuing the harassment, the person has been adequately warned, so if it continues (either with new IPs or after the block has ended on existing ones), please either let me know or re-report on AIV, even if the IPs have not been previously warned. SpencerT♦C 13:42, 7 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! It might be wise to include some of the "words" this user has been using in the abuse filters. /Grillo (talk) 14:40, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Although the user was blocked for 31 hours, I went ahead and extended the block length to 2 weeks considering the circumstances. Also, I don't have much technical experience with the abuse filters, but I think this may be what you are looking for: Wikipedia:Edit filter/Requested. SpencerT♦C 11:28, 15 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested) edit

Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:

It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve.

At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange).

Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot.

If you have any other questions or comments, drop by my talk page or email me at wikiocaasi@yahoo.com. Cheers! Ocaasi t | c 17:18, 11 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
