← It's taken me a while, but you can now configure which CSD notices should also show a welcome message if the user page doesn't yet exist. In the end I didn't create a checkbox for that since it would only ever have an effect if the user talk page doesn't yet exist. Checking the talk page beforehand would create an unnecessary delay, asking for feedback later on would probably be a bother too; what you can do instead is use the TwinkleConfig.welcomeUserOnSpeedyDeletionNotification option to configure which CSD criteria do add the {{firstarticle if new}} notice. Place
TwinkleConfig.welcomeUserOnSpeedyDeletionNotification = [];
in your monobook.js to turn them off completely. It defaults to leaving a welcome message with all enabled notifications. Cheers, Amalthea 22:19, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of File:Mickve.jpg edit
A tag has been placed on File:Mickve.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I8 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is available as a bit-for-bit identical copy on the Wikimedia Commons under the same name, or all references to the image on Wikipedia have been updated to point to the title used at Commons.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:File:Mickve.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Typo redirect 403d Bobmardment Squadron edit

I have declined the speedy deletion as this asserts significance, which is a lower standard than notability. It does in fact appear to have a WP:RS supporting notability with the Forbes article. generally, articles with a reilable source are not likely to meet WP:CSD Cheers, Dlohcierekim 20:20, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
