New Username, etc. edit

Hey GriffAnt! Thanks for creating a new username. It now appears to be in full compliance  . As for the COOL-ER eReader article, there are definitely some changes I would like to make, but unfortunately I won't have time in the next 24hrs or so as I am moving today. I'll get back to you before long and help out as much as I can. Thanks for your patience. Jujutacular talkcontribs 13:53, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I got around to making my changes. Let me know what you think. The two biggest issues were formatting and sources. I added two third-party sources to the article. These are required to conform to Wikipedia's guidelines about notability and verifiability. If you have any comments or questions please leave them here. If not, I believe the article is ready for the mainspace! Jujutacular talkcontribs 06:13, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have created an article in the mainspace at COOL-ER. This seems to be the title used at the Interead website so I went with that. Any more issues can be addressed there. Jujutacular talkcontribs 15:56, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello Jujutacular, first of all an apology for not coming back to you sooner, I've been away - got back to a massive back log etc.. Secondly - wow, I'm blown away by the work you guys put into this site - it is spectacular. To business; I'm happy with what you have written - except one thing! got to be one thing right? ;-) the use of the description "unintuitive" for the the interface. I've seen some reviews that are less critical than the ones cited, let me dig them out and then we can talk semantics! btw our stance is that the COOL-ER is a device made for readers by readers and as such it is never going to be comparable to an to the interface of an iPhone or the like... for example my 6yr old daughter navigates around my COOL-ER with ease! let me come back to you. kind regards --GriffAnt (talk) 14:00, 10 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the feedback. If you do find more reviews or from reliable sources, I'd be happy to incorporate them into the article. Also, thanks for respecting our process here at Wikipedia. A lot of people from a lot of companies tend to simply add promotional material to Wikipedia articles - and consequently it gets scrapped pretty quickly!
I was hesitant at first to address your concern about the wording "unintuitive interface" but then when I went back to the reviews I referenced (Wired and Gizmodo), the only thing I found actually said it had an intuitive interface! Hence I removed this wording from the article.
Anyway, if more changes need to be made, I may ask another editor to review them as well, to ensure a neutral point of view is taken. If you want to get my attention again, you may want to add a "talkback template" at my talk page (otherwise I may forget to check back). You can do this by going to User talk:Jujutacular and leaving this code there:
{{Talkback|GriffAnt}}
