January 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. CIreland (talk) 21:50, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Lord of the Rings. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. CIreland (talk) 21:52, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.   This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Hobbit.  – iridescent 21:46, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Ian McKellen. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Another "last warning" Old Moonraker (talk) 15:48, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy because your account is being used only for spam, advertising, or promotion. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below.
