Hello, Grey.kennedy, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Name change

edit

Hey, just letting you know I moved George w mclaurin to George W. McLaurin to standardize the name  :) Anyone clicking on the original version should be automatically redirected to the new one now. Keep in mind that for links to work to other Wikipedia articles you have to use double brackets, like this [[article title goes here]] rather than single brackets, and your refs should be placed inline in the article. You can find help for that at WP:REFBEGIN. Hope this helps! JamesG5 (talk) 04:40, 30 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Grey.kennedy: Please don't post the article text in the redirect page, that breaks the links to the correct page.  :) No one should ever actually see that redirect, you only saw it because you have the original link. JamesG5 (talk) 04:56, 30 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
