Condensation reaciton edit
This article condensation reaction is a mature article edited by experienced editors who have advanced degrees in chemistry and related topics. Your instructor has zero experience editing Wikipedia. So, we have a situation of the inexperienced leading the inexperienced. One suggestion: WP:TERTIARY is a good guide to consult.--Smokefoot (talk) 03:44, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
Enzymes are catalysts edit
The reason that condensation reactions proceed in organisms is because they are driven by ATP hydrolysis or related exothermic processes. Enzymes guide selectivity, but like any catalyst they dont change the thermodynamics of the system. You might put your modified homework into Abiogenesis, but it would be weird and inappropriate if condensation reaction was mainly focused on the speculative prebiotic theme. You could also expand the non-prebiotic part of condensation reaction, such as discussion of the condensations involved in peptide formation, fatty acid synthesis, etc. in contemporary biochemistry. --Smokefoot (talk) 15:25, 4 December 2023 (UTC)
