Exercise class

edit

Identified so far as students who have been misled into using Wikipedia as a free host:

This search suggests more. -- GB fan 13:08, 10 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi GB fan GB - thanks for flagging these up. Yes, I'm indeed an instructor, the list above (as well as the search for Wiki Exercise) comprises of students participating in a class project, the exercise is merely a way to get students connected with the editing process. The exercise is not intended to encourage the use of thw wiki as a free host - on the contrary, it is supposed to encourage free and open exchange of ideas through discussion on talk pages. There will be 3 more such assessed exercises on talk pages from my students over the coming weeks (this is the first time this exercise has run in this format), and a discrete project conducted on Wikibooks (currently in its third annual iteration).

A small number of students have had their edits deleted, and have attempted engagement with the Tea House - told that content is "irrelevant" and the admins won't budge on it. I'll notify asap. GregXenon01 (talk) 15:19, 10 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Greg.

Honest prediction, Wales to make the semi finals.

Challenge me, although I'm sure you'd be happy with that.
