Welcome! edit

Hello, Greenthumb7, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

December 2023 edit

You have recently made edits related to the Arab–Israeli conflict. This is a standard message to inform you that the Arab–Israeli conflict is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. Additionally, editors must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert on the same page within 24 hours for pages within this topic. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Wikipedia:Contentious topics. Cullen328 (talk) 04:08, 6 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

To clarify, you are not permitted to make any article edits related to the Israel/Palestinian conflict until you have made at least 500 edits. Currently, you have 55 edits. Also be aware that your future edits must comply with the Neutral point of view, so please avoid placing undue weight on one narrow aspect of an article. You are clearly a good researcher. If you want to improve the culture section of Olive, that is great. But improve the entire section, covering all the major cultures around the Mediterranean. Thank you for letting me know! I thought it was only for the page not for the topic in whole. Greenthumb7 (talk) 02:40, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
