A matter of personal concern

edit

This may not be my business, but feel I need to mention this, so please take it that I mean well: I think that you could try to cultivate a better relationship with Ghmyrtle. Don't get me wrong, I have probably driven him nuts with some of my debates and petitions--but I always try to make an appeal directly to him as a fellow editor if it is something I feel strongly about, rather than trying to go around or circumvent him. He is a very knowledgeable and respected editor--he's earned his stripes as Master Editor. I think you would benefit from having a constructive dialogue. Why don't you discuss matters with him in a friendly way before trying to counteract his decisions in such grand fashion? You might find that he will sometimes even grant your point--if you use good rationale and can provide sources. But remember, an encyclopedia is not a place that favors out-of-the-mainstream or spurious notions--so if your position is not commonly held--then the burden is on you to prove it, not other editors. His manner may seem brusque at times, but he can teach you how to be better editor, as he has taught me. So give him a chance, and he will teach you a lot.
