April Bowlby edit

edit

I have reverted your addition of a date of birth and its accompanying California Birth Index citation to April Bowlby. WP:BLPPRIMARY specifies, ""Do not use trial transcripts and other court records, or other public documents, to support assertions about a living person. Do not use public records that include personal details, such as date of birth, ..."

Please feel free to add a date of birth if it is cited to a reliable secondary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:38, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

First sentence consensus

edit

Hi. Thanks for your contributions. On 12 January 2023 you added alternative names to the first sentence of the article World War I. I don't know if you noticed the hidden note visible in editing mode that explains that the first sentence had consensus as it was. We had a long discussion about it and reached an agreement to said sentence as it was on 16 December 2022 after my edition. If you still believe the first sentence needs changing, the best way to express your thoughts is starting a discussion after checking the thread "Lead sentence could use changing". Regards, Thinker78 (talk) 18:45, 14 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Oh okay thanks for letting know, will do that if I want to add to it next time. Greenboi123 (talk) 03:24, 15 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wagner Group

edit
edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Commando System (South Africa), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Union Defence Force. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Jorja Fox edit

edit

I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Jorja Fox. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published, non-primary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 00:06, 20 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
