Esme Mackinnon

edit

Hi, I noticed that you made an edit last year to the page for British ski racer Esme Mackinnon, adding her date of death.

Could you please let me know where or how you found out this information? I can't find confirmation of it anywhere and I'm very curious. Many thanks. Charolastra charolo (talk) 23:51, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm very sorry, although I remember finding the date I don't remember what site I found it on. I seem to think that it was a list of skiing champions, and I'm sure was not wikipedia. I hadn't looked at it for a long time, but looking now I see there is a date all over the internet. I assume it is correct. 23 February 2011 (00:54 GMT)

Blocked?

Regarding this you aren't currently blocked, nor do you ever appear to have been blocked. In fact if you're blocked you couldn't edit the sandbox anyway. So, you are not blocked. Tonywalton Talk 00:55, 23 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. When you recently edited 1982 FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page László Kiss (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
