Speedy deletion nomination of User:Green Park Ltd

Conflict of interest

In this comment you state that you work for Green Park Ltd. Wikipedia's policy is that encyclopedia articles are written from an independent point of view, and editing of articles by those who are employed by the subjects of the articles is generally discouraged, as such people are likely to have a conflict of interest. Also Wikipedia does not accept any contributions which seem to promote or advertise anything. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:52, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

Copyright

On Lectonar's talk page you say "it's not copyright infringement as such, seeing as we own the copyright to the text", and go on to accuse Lectonar of "jumping to conclusions". However, there are a number of issues here. For one thing, we cannot take the word of any anonymous user that they own copyright: if the copyright owner wishes to make their work available for quotation here they need to convey this fact by verifiable means. Such means include posting a notice on their web site, and writing to the Wikimedia foundation. For another thing, you should make sure you are actually willing to grant as wide and open a license to the material as posting it on Wikipedia implies.
