I would suggest you read the source articles such as aqua.
Hello, I'm Jim1138. Your recent edit to the page List of colors: A–F appears to have added incorrect information, so it has been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 23:44, 3 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Referencing

edit

Per wp:verifiability, any significant content needs to wp:cite a wp:reliable source. See help:referencing for beginners. WP:V is not an option. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 00:05, 4 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of (color)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on (color) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ~ Abelmoschus Esculentus (talk to me) 03:16, 4 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to List of colors: N–Z. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Your changes don't tie to cited sources in the articles about the colors, such as Tan (color). You really need to provide explanations and sources for these edits; otherwise, they give the appearance of being intentionally disruptive.C.Fred (talk) 03:39, 4 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Also changing colors on list of colors: G–M and List of colors: N–Z that are in conflict with the sourced color linked to.
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at List of colors: A-F. Jim1138 (talk) 23:06, 4 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Example of the problem with your edits

edit

The article green has a reference to what the RGB values are. Your edit is 1) unsourced. 2) is in conflict with green. Jim1138 (talk) 23:46, 4 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
