Deletion pending for File:Bernardine Bishop photo.jpg edit

Hello, Grand Vitesse. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Bernardine Bishop photo.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Though there is often a backlog processing messages received at this address, we should have received your message by now.

  • If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
  • If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.

If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 14:43, 6 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:GP Racing March 2020 cover.jpeg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:GP Racing March 2020 cover.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 20:42, 15 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Matt Bishop edit

Hello, Grand Vitesse,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123 and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Matt Bishop, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

@John B123:

Many thanks for the message, John, and apologies if I have added to your workload. It's not a repost of the previous page but a new one, with substantially new sources, taking into account that the individual is now a published novelist. I believe the rationale for deleting the previous entry were principally that Bishop was working in PR, which is perfectly understandable grounds for deletion (however, I also note that one of the contributors who 'voted' for its deletion was subsequently discovered to be a sock puppet, and booted off Wikipedia).
