Brighton Voice edit

I've amended the text in places and sent you a message. Please go ahead with further additions. I'd like to do a summary of the main issues covered over the years, but that is rather difficult as I am not in Brighton.Roundtheworld (talk) 06:19, 13 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:20, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

/* Suggestions */ edit

Hi GraemeE17,

I see that you are the original author of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust's page. I work in the Communications Team at Oxleas and have made some suggestions on the talk section of the page to get the page up to date. My suggestions were as follows:

I work for Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and would like to draw to your attention that some of the information on this page is out of date. Can I please request that you update it – I have included information below to assist you with this. Under Current status, the trust’s name is incorrect - it has never been known as Oxleas NHS Mental Health Foundation Trust – it should be called Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. Oxleas also provides health care services to prisons in Kent. Under Future plans: Oxleas took over the running of Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup on 1 October 2013. See for reference: http://www.bexleyccg.nhs.uk/News-Events/pr009.htm, qmh.oxleas.nhs.uk and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_London_Healthcare_NHS_Trust

Can you please ask that you include an External links section. Can I please suggest that this includes: www.oxleas.nhs.uk qmh.oxleas.nhs.uk http://www.kingsfund.org.uk/publications/oxleas-advanced-dementia-service http://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/news/article/284/greenwich_wins_gold_award_for_new_health_and_social_care_approach http://www.oxleas.nhs.uk/news/2013/11/cash-boost-for-dementia-patien/

Following professional advice from my industry (public relations) and the spirit of Wikipedia can I please ask you to take my suggestions on board and update the page to reflect these as the original author.

Many thanks Oxleascomms (talk) 15:08, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
