Re: edit summary usage at other Wikipedias edit

Hi. With some delay, I thought about your question. Implementing the edit summary usage at other Wikipedias would require knowing how to call all the namespaces (Wikipedia, Image, Talk, Category, User, etc) in all the languages, and big changes to my code, as well as maintanance. In all honesty, I don't think my script is so important to the welfare of Wikipedia to be worth extending it. However, if somebody wants to use my code to extend it to other wiki languages, the code is available and in the public domain, at http://www.math.ucla.edu/~aoleg/wp/rfa/ . Cheers, Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 00:28, 19 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

I understand, it wasn't really important it was just me wanting to know how good I'm att using edit-summaries. Thanks for your time./Grön 12:24, 19 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Now it works for all languages (hopefully). I modified the code to parse exclusively based on html tags, which are obviously the same in all languages as all language Wikipedias use the same software to generate html. Was much easier than I thought. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:26, 22 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Oh, didnt ecept that, great fun :) Thank a million times. /Grön 16:18, 22 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

RfA Results and Thanks edit

Grön, thank you for supporting me in my recent RfA. Although it did not succeed as no consensus was declared (final: 65/29/7), I know that there is always an opportunity to request adminship again. If and when that day comes, I hope you will once again support me. If at any time I make any mistakes or if you would like to comment on my contributions to Wikipedia, you are more than welcome to do so. Regardless of your religious, cultural, and personal beliefs, I pray that whatever and whoever motivates you in life continues to guide you on the most righteous path.

Speedy deletion edit

Hi there, I notice that you tagged Image:2439532.jpg for speedy deletion without giving a reason. I have not been able to find a reason why this page should be speedily deleted, so I have removed the tag. If there is an actual reason from WP:CSD that this page shold be speedily deleted, please re-add a tag from that page which gives the exact reason, or use {{db|insert reason here}}. Alternatively, you can use WP:IFD instead. Thanks! Stifle 20:14, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orh edit

Grön, I originally found that image on the Tatar Wikipedia, so please don't blame be for it. It seems to be pretty fair use, an image of an alphabet in an article about the alphabet. I do not know how to fix this. I tried edting the template with the {{fairuse|Artilcle}} but failed. There are seven language versions of the file (which is on Wili Commons) which link to this. Please do not delete it hastily, but explain how we can fix this. Evertype 13:47, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

I was just wondering becus we have it on the swedish Wikipedia to, and we dont use fairuse there, but I guess it would be perfectly okej for this Wiki. /Grön sv 14:19, 15 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

My userpage last.fm section edit

Thank you fixing my last.fm userbox on my userpage. However I am curious to know how you found your way to my page, simply out of interest.

Again thank you. --robz0r 08:32, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your Wikipedia or Last.fm page? Your last.fm page is as said linked to from your userpage, quite how I found your userpage I don't rember. /Grön sv 11:13, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Wait now I remember, I was browsing true Category:Wikipedians by location and then I found you quite alone in Category:Users who never left Eastern Hemisphere/Grön sv 11:15, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion edit

Proposed deletion of Young Greens of Sweden‎ edit

The article Young Greens of Sweden‎ has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion..
