Regarding School of Environmental Studies edit

Hi,

Good job on moving School of Environmental Studies to School of Environmental Studies Minnesota or whatever.

However, when you went to edit the original (general) article, you were in fact redirect to the new (Minnesota) article, and you replaced that page instead.

I've now removed the redirect so you can edit the (general) page properly.

License tagging for Image:Environmental studies.gif edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Environmental studies.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:04, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problems with Environmental studies.gif edit

I removed the copyright problem notice that you put on the image Environmental studies.gif. The license tag appears good now. Also I corrected the use of the {{FAL}} tag that you attached to the image. When you use this tag, or any of the copyright tags, do not use a "subst:" with the template, because it does not work properly using "subst". Thanks. ●DanMS 01:02, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

April 2014 edit

Hello, I'm Excirial. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Govind Singh  with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 15:55, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Govind Singh, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Ruby Murray 16:50, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have not removed any content whatsoever. I have tried to redirect one page to another page, by creating a new page. I hope that was fine. (Govind (talk) 16:58, 4 April 2014 (UTC))Reply

Welcome edit

Hello, Govind029, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you created was Dr. Govind Singh (Environmentalist), which appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!   The page I have created is of a personality who is searched on the Internet, and there are dozens of independent sources which will be placed in the references section for helping the users. (Govind (talk) 17:16, 4 April 2014 (UTC))Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Dr. Govind Singh (Environmentalist) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dr. Govind Singh (Environmentalist), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Ruby Murray 17:17, 4 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Sesdu.jpg edit

The file File:Sesdu.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 27 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
