Your recent edits to Urali Gounder could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. twsabin 17:28, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Also, I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Urali Gounder that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. twsabin 17:30, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your summary [1] "Do not add content related to muthrayar in Urali gounder. This is a sub caste of gounder community. Adding content related to muthrayar may attract legal action." is very, very problematic. Don't ever, ever even elude to "legal action" in your edits or summary. Your summary is vague enough that I'm not inclined to block you this one time, but understand this: Legal threats normally mean an INDEFINITE BLOCK from editing. Period. Even if innocently stating what you think could happen, just don't. It isn't your place to worry about legal action anyway. Finally, another admin may come in and decide I'm being too generous, and block you anyway. I am telling you this as a fellow editor, not in my capacity as an admin, which means they are 100% free to act.
Seriously. Don't do it again. I can't stress this enough. It's a dumb thing to do. Dennis Brown - 20:53, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
