Disambiguation link notification for July 21
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Megha Dhade, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Rollback granted
editHi Golfsco. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until {{{expiry}}}. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Beeblebrox (talk) 02:51, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you Beeblebrox, though I do have one question: what is the expiration time of the rollback permission? You never specified a time neither in the message above nor at PERM, and I'm not finding an expiration date here either. How long is the rollback for, or did you just click the wrong message and my right is permanent? Golfsco (talk) 03:21, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- Huh. It didn’t used to automatically add an expiry parameter, must’ve been changed recently. I enabled it indefinitely. Beeblebrox (talk) 03:24, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks for the clarification. Golfsco (talk) 03:25, 22 July 2018 (UTC)

Andrew Sullivan
editAndrew criticised someone for their racist tweets, so I added a part on his page about him criticising someone over their racist tweets. What is the problem? --101.173.78.130 (talk) 03:03, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- The wording of the section violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy (you can't just call someone of being a racist without backing it up with reliable sources; as for the sources provided, the first source isn't that reliable and the second doesn't call Jeong racist outright). See also WP:BLP. Golfsco (talk) 03:15, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- how is nationalreview not a reliable source? Would you like me to show you her many, many tweets that are explicitedly racist instead? --101.173.78.130 (talk) 03:23, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- I would like to apologize, I seem to have glossed over that source.
- With that said, there is disagreement over at Sarah Jeong on adding the controversy altogether, so it would be best to hold off on adding it until there is agreement to even add it to Jeong's article, in such a way that doesn't run afoul with NPOV (and WP:BLP for that matter). Golfsco (talk) 03:40, 5 August 2018 (UTC)
- I see no harm in myself taking a break from editing and checking back next week to see the conclusions reached on this matter over at Sarah Jeong. --101.173.78.130 (talk) 03:43, 5 August 2018 (UTC)

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
