Hi, Nice to meet you. I am still getting a hang of the whole wiki markup, but I appreciate your message. Is there any links to resources for extenions/3rd party features for wikipedians who aren't very savvy on how to use wiki markup? Please stop edit

Please stop spamming the Hickok45 article with those links. They don't improve the article. The Master ---)Vote Saxon(--- 23:25, 18 April 2016 (UTC) Why don't they improve the article? Then remove the link to other stuff too because they don't improve the article. GoldenSHK (talk) 05:29, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

No. Quit spamming articles with links to your site [1]. People don't like spam. The Master ---)Vote Saxon(--- 00:28, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ok then Wikia's not my site. So keep that up. Otherwise you're just saying anything to delete whatever you want. GoldenSHK (talk) 03:32, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Btw do you code? I am having some issues with Parsoid API I need to ask someone. GoldenSHK (talk) 03:36, 20 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

June 2016 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at 2016 UCLA shooting, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. General Ization Talk 02:55, 2 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

There is nothing on the student's blog page or his profile that says that he was the gunman in the 2016 UCLA shooting. Your posting his name absent an official identification is a violation of Wikipedia's policies on verifiability, no original research and biography of living (or recently deceased) persons, as well as being potentially defamatory if it proves incorrect. Please don't do that again. General Ization Talk 03:01, 2 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
Published sources (e.g., [2]) have now identified Sarkar as the gunman, so it is now appropriate to include the identification citing these sources. General Ization Talk 12:37, 2 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

September 2016 edit

Hi, I noticed that you'd previously reverted an edit to the term "Deen" on it's wikipedia page Din. A user specified that the term was Arabic and removed the references to Zoroastrianism. I'm writing so that you do not edit my own modifications*. The word "din" or "deen" is officially a word in Arabic and Hebrew. Persian specifies it as one of the many loan words it has from Arabic due to Islam. I added more references to the word's Semitic origin as well as references to its usage in Judaism and ancient Jewish text and law.

The Zoroastrian theory in etymology I kept, seeing as it is an interesting notion - but the oldest liturgical texts that mention the term Daena are from the year 1300 CE. That makes the theory very unscientific, considering at that point Persia had been conquered by the Muslim world and was producing most of its scholarly texts in Arabic. Prior to that the administrative language of Persia was Aramaic, which heavily influenced the Persian language. The term "Din" is also not exclusively an Arab term, and exists in Hebrew and Aramaic text; including in the Dead Sea Scrolls which are well over 2000 years old - older than any Zoroastrian reference. Dear GoldenSHK,

You're invited to a zoom call, taking place on February 11, with the goal of improving the article on Los Angeles to Featured article status! I often find it daunting to approach the Big Subjects on my own—so if you, like me, want a time to sit down with fellow dedicated editors and tackle something important and complex, this is the zoom for you! I, unfortunately, have no way to transmit snacks over zoom; but I trust you to exercise good judgement and discretion in selecting snacks of your own. Hope to see you there—if you're interested, add your name here!
