A "sock puppet" is an account presented to be a different person when it is in fact the same person. I have never done anything like that. I have always identified myself in a totally consistent manner. This is in perfect conformity with the spirit of the Wikipedia rule about sock puppetry. Yet you chose to wield your hammer against me anyway. Incorrect data deletion (message back)

Hello, I would like to message you about the recent deletion of my change to the M1911. The M1911 is a Colt made .45 cal pistol, made in the year of 1911. I have changed it because you guys have it set so John Browning made it (when it is a Colt firearm). I have proof of this as of in this link http://www.colt.com/Catalog/ColtPistols/Colt1991®Series.aspx If you think my change is incorrect, please give me a correct reason, and real official proof that I am wrong by messaging me back. I have multiple friends who do in fact work for Colt manufacturing.

Hello, if so, why don't you give credit to colt firearms for manufacturing it. It doesn't say anywhere that it was manufactured by Colt Firearms. Also when someone talks about it, I always recall it being called the "Colt M1911. I see that you have blocked a few Tdadamemd accounts as sock puppets of ChrisfromHouston. There is at least one more. You're awesome. It's ok I'm fine and I'll stick around. Basically (I don't know why I'm telling you this) It's a tumblr thing where you want two characters from a show to get together. On Supernatural the characters are straight. The fantasy I was talking about is them wanting Dean Winchester (the guy that keeps coming up on that page)and castiel to get together. It doesn't make any sense because the characters are straight and are like brothers. I'm fine with this fantasy of theirs but It can get annoying like today and it's not going to happen on the show. It's a pretty cool show, you should watch it :). So sorry to tell you all this I don't know why I did. Question regarding editing the Justin Moore page

Can you please help me add information about Justin Moore's height without violating the neutrality of this article? One of the most noticeable features of Justin More is his height. It has been listed at several measures, but many people have taken pictures with him and found his height to be exaggerated in most listings. Hey, it looks like the sockmaster of all of the accounts surrounding Zachary Laoutides is actually User:Ignitepictures. They'd been blocked initially for disruptive editing and I indef'd them as a promotional username. They have the earliest edits as a whole. Do you think we should do an SPI just to make sure? @LeoFrank: I was reverting some spam from a different editor, though on closer inspection, the Permanent account number has far too many external inline links which I will be removing shortly. It appears that Ravishyam Bangalore has ownership issues with the articles that they edit, blindly reverting any edits, and edit warring to get back to their preferred version. Should they return, I recommend reporting them to WP:ANI or WP:ANEW as appropriate. WP:ANI would probably be a better place since the issue seems to be long running and probably needs a longer explanation than a straight 3RR violation. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:36, 7 June 2014 (UTC)

Being that Metropolis plays at the same National Level as OMBAC...Why would our article be deleted and OMBACs be accepted?

Notability Guidelines state....An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Trivial or incidental coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not sufficient to establish notability. All content must be verifiable. If no independent, third-party, reliable sources can be found on a topic, then Wikipedia should not have an article on it.

Deletion of Metropolis Rugby Club Article?

Hi Anne, I'm trying to grasp why the Metropolis Rugby Club Article was deleted for Copyright infringements and Notability Guidelines. So yes, I'm going to pick on one of Metropolis's foes, OMBAC, or Old Mission Beach Athletic Club to help me understand the differences. If I correctly understand the Notability Guidelines, an organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Trivial or incidental coverage of a subject by secondary sources is not sufficient to establish notability. All content must be verifiable. If no independent, third-party, reliable sources can be found on a topic, then Wikipedia should not have an article on it.

Well, OMBACs members had to have crafted and recorded their clubs history not unlike Metropolis, thru hand written journals provided by Old Boys or retired players. My question then is How is their non verifiable content accepted and ours then denied? As a matter of fact here is a bit of History, OMBAC was founded in 1966, and Metropolis thru the merger of 2 clubs, can trace its founding back before the 60s, BUT that would be added later when those Articles are written and then linked.

My second point involves copyright infringements, again I'm going to pick on OMBAC, If you go to OMBACs website and look at their History and compare it to their Wikipedia Articles History you have the same copy, word for word, and not one footnote or reference is noted on their article back to the website. So why are the same rules for copyright infringements applied differently in identical cases?

My point is that both teams have a very rich history in the formation and the modern growth of the sport of rugby here in the states, and both have to rely on present non-active club members such as myself, to record this history from hand written journals of the past... there are no third party sources, i.e. newspapers did not cover rugby back in the 60's, websites were not around until what the late 90's and references i.e. encyclopedias may cover what rugby is but they certainly do not cover the history of USA rugby clubs.

Alt account question

I want to make an alt account for my phone since whenever I log in on it, it seems to log me off on my laptop and vice versa. Is this considered a "legit" reason for an alt account? @EvergreenFir: Sure, I see no problem with creating an account for that purpose. I do have a few suggestions: I would suggest is that as soon as you create the alternate account, that you use your primary account to acknowledge that the alternate account really is yours. For example, use your primary account to make the first edit of the alternate account's user page with whatever you like from Category:Alternative Wikipedia account templates. You might also want to acknowledge your alternate account on your primary account. If you immediately acknowledge the account then nobody has to be concerned that alternate account really is you or somebody trying to impersonate you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:15, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
