About mesothelioma (the Warren Zevon story): It is not a form of lung cancer, but, rather, it is a tumorous condition of the mesothelium--which includes the lining of the lungs. Its course is also different than that of lung cancer in that it unfolds in a more deliberate fashion and leaves the victims' quality of life less affected until near the end (usually in around ten months, at the most). It is invariably fatal. There are few effective treatments and the emphasis is primarily on pain relief. A succinct description of mesothelioma can be found The Merck Manual.
Can we back up this statement with a source? "Unfortunately, the moderators of message boards are not always qualified in the areas to which they are assigned. One example would be the female moderator of the men's health message boards." I've not been able to to find one, and without citing a third-party, independent reliable source, the edit looks out of place and more like a personal statement than a reported fact. Additions to Carbon dioxide laser
editDon't add nonsense to articles like you did to Carbon dioxide laser. Lasers are not good for hunting deer for a number of reasons. For ways in which you can constructively add to Wikipedia instead of wasting time, see the welcome page. --Chuck Sirloin 13:09, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 19:38, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Streetsboro, Ohio
editHi there. Just noticed you removed your comments from Talk:Streetsboro, Ohio. Could I persuade you to help us improve that article, along with other articles about Portage County? Thanks! -- JeffBillman (talk) 18:39, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
