How to write user pages

You also don't have to write your user page in third person. I was too harsh towards you at first. Generally, don't excessively write about who you work for, or include a lot of external links. Posting a lot of links could come off as spam, and writing something that reads like a resume usually isn't allowed either. See WP:UPYES. Among Us for POTUS (talk) 05:55, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

Redirect

Please stop changing Frand. As lower case, that is a surname. FRAND already exists as the redirect you are trying to create for the acronym.. MB 01:03, 28 December 2022 (UTC)

I'm fairly new to Wikipedia. Thanks for pointing that out. I just searched the lower case term and it mades no sense to me that Mr. Frand needs a redirect since there is already and article about him. Why is the redirect to Mr. Frand ok? A redirect is to take a person directly to the place they are most likely trying to find. Patton redirects to George S. Patton because that is most the most likely target. If you get to that article and you are looking for a different Patton, the hatnote guides you. The most likely Frand here is the Yissocher Frand. There is a hatnote there too. If a term is ambiguous, it takes you do a disambiguation page like Lincoln. MB 01:55, 28 December 2022 (UTC)

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Vringo. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Thanks for the feedback. I am new to editing on Wikipedia and welcome the feedback. Can you share the part that you find promotional? Did you see that I added a negative outcome to their appeal in the case against Google? I have no interest in Vringo at all.
