You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~Anachronist (talk) 02:23, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

In addition, your move of Norbert Stachel has been reverted and moved back to Draft:Norbert Stachel. This article was not approved for main space. ~Anachronist (talk) 02:23, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Question: What is your association with Norbert Stachel? It is a fair question because you have been almost exclusively editing in behalf of that subject. ~Anachronist (talk) 21:07, 7 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, ~Anachronist. I am a friend of Norbert Stachel, and he reached out to me for assistance conforming his page to Wikipedia's standards, which I admit I am just learning as a new member of the community. I gave up on contesting the sock puppet claim because I see that you have a conflict of interest policy that I am guilty of. I appreciate and respect that policy in regards to maintaining the integrity of your content. I hoped my efforts would be of assistance by providing the necessary citations and removing the self-promotional tone of the content, using as a model many comparable pages of living musicians of similar stature. Aside from the initial article as a template, my edits have been independent of Norbert's guidance. I am not paid for my efforts. I am a fellow musician he reaches out to for technical help. I meant no harm, deception, or vandalism. Gnulander (talk) 22:23, 7 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your candor. If you can give assurance that you will not edit in main space in behalf of Norbert Stachel again, I will unblock you. In situations where you have a conflict of interest, it is best to avoid any substantive actions such as major edits, or page moves, although you are always welcome to add citations to reliable independent sources. You are free to discuss things on article talk pages, as long as you disclose your conflict of interest.
You may continue to improve Draft:Norbert Stachel because it's OK for a COI editor to work in Draft space to submit a draft for review via WP:AFC, but editors with a COI shouldn't move their drafts to main space. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:00, 8 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Absolutely, I will not edit on behalf of Norbert Stachel in the main space in the future. Further, I'll read more about page moves, draft vs. main space, etc. Newbie error, I did not even realize that I didn't understand these things until you mentioned them above. Thank you for understanding. Gnulander (talk) 01:35, 8 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Congratulations. You are now unblocked. Feel free to contact me on my talk page, or use Wikipedia:Help desk, if you have questions or need advice. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:58, 8 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
