Status bar deterioriates
The long process of updating Xowa is difficult to anticipate without the status bar. Every time the window is minimized the text deteriorates to the point that it is completely gone after about three or four times and the whole rest of the update process is done in the dark.

- Hi! Thanks for reporting the issue.
I've not seen this issue before. Just to confirm:
- Are you doing an Import Online of a wiki? Out of curiosity, which one?
- What Operating System are you on?
- If on Windows, do you have large fonts enabled?
- Are you on a laptop? (Large fonts are typically enabled on it)
Other than that, you can also try downloading pre-built wikis from Download Central: home/wiki/Special:XowaDownloadCentral . It uses a progress bar that's visible directly on the page.

Thanks for the reply. First let me express my appreciation for your work! I am very grateful for it.
I am using a desktop, Windows 10.
I'm not sure I understand the part about the pre-built wiki from Download central. Is download central for downloading the complete and current wiki? I have done both download central and also generating the scripts is Wiki maintenance. My current XOWA folder is currently 256 GB. I assumed it was because I ran the updates for the images. Have I doubled up on something and what is the difference between download central and wiki maintenance?

Regarding Windows 10, that's strange. I don't have a Windows 10 machine available, but I'll try to get a loaner and reproduce.
Just so I understand, is the process something like the following?
- Download wiki through Import/Online
- Minimize XOWA
- Restore XOWA
- Status-bar no longer shows messages?
Regarding download central, it allows downloading the complete wiki. Meanwhile, Wiki maintenance / Import Online allows building the wiki. For most new users, downloading is easier as building will take more time.
Offhand, 256 GB is a lot. Can you try opening a command-line, running "dir", and pasting the contents of the 256 GB here? Alternatively, you can screenshot it as well.
