Re: Žiga Jurečič, Miha Drnovšek edit

The reason that I have put these articles up for deletion is because they do not meet the rules for inclusion. In order to have an article on Wikipedia, a subject must meet certain criteria called notability. For footballers there are two relevant guidelines to determining notability. The general notability guideline says that any subject that has received significant coverage in reliable sources is notable. In the context of football, significant coverage does not include routine sports coverage like match reports, squad lists, player profiles, or transfer announcements. The other relevant guidelines is football-specific notability guideline, which says that footballers are notable if they have played for their country's national team or in one of the fully professional leagues listed here. In the case of Slovenia, this means only PrvaLiga and national team players are notable. I hope that clears things up. On an unrelated note, please place new sections on talk pages on the bottom of the page and please sign your comments by typing four tildes (~~~~) after your comment. Using the new section feature at the top of most talk pages will put it in the right place automatically. Happy editing. Sir Sputnik (talk) 19:30, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
