I did place an explanation in the explanation box. Erin Molan is a close friend and her date of birth has been incorrect on Wikipedia for some time. All I have done is edit the date of birth to 24 August 1983. There were no other changes and I tagged it a minor edit.

Yes I do.

I have been personal friends with Erin Molan for decades. I am retired NSW Police Officer.

Erin had recently announced live to air that someone needs to fix her date of birth on wikipedia so I took up that responsibility for her. Her birthday is today and she turns 40 which was highly publicized this morning on many social media platforms and also across significant media outlets such as Channel Nine and 2Day FM radio all stating that she turned 40 today.

You will note that in the wikipedia narrative the date of birth is correct at 24/8/1983. The incorrect date of birth I tried to rectify was in the side box 24/8/1984. Its just a simple error that needs to be edited.

Please give an example of a reliable source, see WP:RS. Knowing someone for decades or being a police officer is not a source for Wikipedia. LibStar (talk) 07:27, 24 August 2023 (UTC)

No problem at all as you need to ensure the integrity of Wikipedia editing is checked. If you google me "Glenn Gorick" you will see that my personal integrity is in check too and that I have a significant public profile and of very good character.
