Hello, Tommy Tango, and welcome to Wikipedia! I am Sam Sailor and I would like to thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Do maintain a neutral point of view
  Don't spam
  Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest

Remember to always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to this (your talk) page, and a timestamp.

The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun! To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:

  Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
  Help contribute to articles
  Perform maintenance tasks
Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates

If you need further help, you can:

  Ask a question

or even:

Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, place {{helpme}} on your talk page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome!

Speedy deletion nomination of Enslow Publishers edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Enslow Publishers, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. noq (talk) 16:40, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Removing Speedy at Enslow Publishers edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for taking the time to contribute.

I'm a bot designed by another Wikipedia editor, and I'm here to help you with our deletion process. I noticed that while working on an article recently, you removed a speedy deletion template that tagged it for deletion. Don't get discouraged! Deletion discussions happen on Wikipedia all the time.

If you don't want the article to get deleted, please click here.

The link will take you to the talk page, where you can explain why the article should be kept. If you have any questions about this or need help with editing, you can ask at the Help desk.

We really hope you'll stick around to help make Wikipedia better! Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 18:21, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

CSD tag removed. No longer promotional. Insulam Simia (talk) 18:25, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Insulam Simia. I skipped a step, and have learned from it. If this article still violates anything, please advise. I will stick to the AfC section from now on, when writing new articles.GlenberryPlace (talk) 18:28, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have posted some advice on the article's talk page. Insulam Simia (talk) 18:30, 8 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

August 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Helen E. Hoens may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • |nominator = [Jon Corzine|Jon S. Corzine]]

Blue Waffle edit

I wasn't previously involved in anything related to this page, so I'm mildly confused why you asked my opinion :-) You don't need permission to recreate it, but since it was previously deleted on non-notability grounds (i.e. it didn't appear to meet our inclusion criteria), you should be careful to demonstrate that it does have enough coverage in reliable secondary sources to qualify under our inclusion criteria. Please also be careful to read WP:HOAX, which provides some guidance about how to write a good encyclopedia article about a hoax. Nyttend backup (talk) 20:13, 11 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

You're not bothering me! I've checked the deleted history of the page, and nothing was at all useful except a little bit from just before the deletion discussion closed. Most of that page discussed an album by the musical group Goldie Lookin Chain, but at the end was the following little bit:

Blue Waffles is also an entirely fictional sexually transmitted disease, which is said to cause lesions and bruising on the vagina. Images circulating on the internet that claim to depict this disease are thought to be created using Photoshop. <ref>Blue Waffles Reality, 8 October 2011. Retrieved on 28 October 2012.</ref>

Not sure if you'd find it helpful, but I figured it couldn't hurt. Nyttend (talk) 22:35, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
