Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Apex Clubs of Australia article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 03:42, 24 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Much of the content you added read very much like an advertisement. Even though you might have permission to copy content from apexfoundation.org.au and aatfa.org.au the content you add must not read like an advertisement. It has to be unbiased, and neutral. The content must be verifiable, referenced, and attributable to reputable/reliable sources.
What about the article is not accurate? ~a (usertalkcontribs) 04:29, 24 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
"Can you advise whether my efforts have been wasted and the material deleted, or is it still residing somewhere that I can work on it further". You can click on the history link at the top of the Apex page to view older versions. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 04:33, 24 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:Aatfa.jpg listed for deletion

edit
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Aatfa.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. —Pilotguy (go around) 23:35, 24 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:75thlogo.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:75thlogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:17, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:ApexBrand1.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:ApexBrand1.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 05:59, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
