Comments on draft edit
Style issues edit
- Look over the explanation for dealing with disambiguation on Wikipedia (Wikipedia:Disambiguation). I don't see a reason to disambiguate here. Disambiguation is inserted as a code, not a section heading, and is used when the same word refers to two different things.
- Change bold all caps to Sentence case, no bold, in headings
Writing edit
- Edit for sentence fragments. First one is bolded; there are several more.
- The word "revolution" sounds like advertising language - edit to be more neutral.
- I edited one heading to read just Design. The current heading Background may be better as Applications. Current Application section seems to be about Types of drillships.
Additions edit
Current draft (looking at new content) is less than 1000 words. I've marked areas where you could add some more information. The Design section would really benefit from a photo or drawing - any available?
References/Sources edit
Edit information that projects into the future. This will very quickly become out of date, or already is. Replace projections with actual data, especially when referring to a previous time. There are likely professional organizations that keep track of drillship construction, drilling operations, etc. A .org/.gov search and/or searching for current trade magazine articles in ABI/Inform should yield more solid data.
