Hey Giseladelcarmen,

My name is Sahar, I am also in Dr. Ogg's Molecular Biology class. Wikipedia has been a highly useful resource for years and I'm excited to contribute to it! Hope to work with you this semester!

Please remember to sign your comments on talk pages

Hi, Gisela, I noticed that on a couple of your recent comments on your group's talk page, you forgot to sign with four tildes (~~~~). Klortho (talk) 16:34, 9 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi, again. Actually, I see that the problem might be more subtle. It looks like maybe you did sign with four tildes, because I see your name and a timestamp. But, maybe you have a problem in your Wikipedia preferences, because the software system isn't recognizing your signature, so a bot comes along and adds "— Preceding unsigned comment added by ...". I discovered this problem with one other student, so maybe you have the same issue.
Please, click "My preferences" (in the upper right) and then select the "User profile" tab (the one all the way on the left). Look under "Signature". Do you see a checkbox next to "Treat the above as wiki markup...."? That box should be unchecked. If it is checked, please uncheck it, and then click the "Save" button.
I'm guessing that you have this box checked. Let me know if my guess is correct or not.

I noticed the same thing. I updated the preferences. It should work now. Gisela Gonzalez (talk) 17:15, 9 October 2012 (UTC) it does! :-)Reply
Great! Klortho (talk) 17:57, 9 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Bad doi ??

edit

Hello, could you check the doi you added to helicase - I don't think that it is a valid doi (doi:10.4161/rna.76.14249). Thanks Illia Connell (talk) 04:09, 8 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Yes! I missed a dot. It should be "doi:10.4161/rna.7.6.14249". Thanks! Gisela Gonzalez (talk) 14:18, 10 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
