Hmm... edit

While I would like to do something like this, it would be inappropriate for me to do so. See, I'm actually member of staff on a RuneScape fansite (Rune Tips), so my stance on Jagex and its policies towards fansites might be biased and not completely representative of what's going on. Also, Rune Tips provide me with a lot of work on their Bestiary, so I doubt I'd find time to work here.

Having said that, my position puts me in a well-informed position regarding new updates to the game, and if I feel that an update merits a comment on here, I'll make sure to put my knowledge from my research to good effect on this topic.

Re: Tulketh/Moor Park edit

Heya. Thanks for that. I spent all this year fighting elections in Tulketh and then I go and get the map wrong, lol. Cheers for finding that, I'll get the new map sorted as soon as =)

January 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Wigan Warriors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. NOTE: This is a test of preferences, not an actual warning. If this message affects anyone other than Ginger_Warrior, accept my apologies. GW(talk) 15:22, 26 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wildcats edit

If that's standard practice, please undo my edit - I wasn't aware of that. I redirected it because I thought that all pages like this would be necessarily speculative rather than factual. pablohablo. 14:32, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've undone it, having looked at the rest of your considerable efforts in this field. pablohablo.

RL player infoboxes edit

Hiya - as you're an active member of the RL project, can you tell me if there's a standard infobox for RL player pages? I ask because DynamoDegsy (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has created a load of player biog pages for 109-year-old players - each one is listed with the same stats:

Born 1 January 1900(1900-01-01), Town, Great Britain

Height 6 feet 0 inches (1.83 metres)

Weight 13 stone 7 pounds (85.73 kilogrammes / 189 pounds)

I've left a message on his talk page, but no response so far. I personally feel that if the correct info isn't available it should be left blank, but just wondered if this is the standard RL project way of doing these pages. pablohablo. 22:20, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

March 2009 edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting it into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 21:16, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Whoops. I had no idea that's how articles were moved in Wikipedia. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep it in mind for the future. GW(talk) 21:20, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
No problem. Just make sure you report all the ones you did wrong to the link above and all will be forgotten! ;) - Jarry1250 (t, c) 21:24, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Great Schism edit

Thank you, that is a fantastic source that you've found. I did have a quick scan around similar wiki articles to see if there was anything definite and sourced that I could use, but as I only had a general idea of what had gone on and knew few facts to back it up I didn't include it.
