Alan Keith

I noticed you restored the disputed fact that Alan Keith and David Kossoff are/were brothers. Does you have a reliable cite for this one way or the other? The filial reference in both entries were removed by 212.135.163.83 (talk) in June 2008. Both the BBC [1] who employed both of them and the Independent [2] seem to think they were, although an 11 year age gap and some discrepancies in their (sketchy) early biographies suggest they possibly were not. There seems to be far less in the Kossoff obituaries (2005) referencing Keith than vice versa (2003).Stevew2022 (talk) 15:03, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Your diminishment of song article #1 succession box info

Why are you removing content from song article succession boxes? The boxes contain a span of dates when the single held the top spot for more than a week. "Band of Gold", for example, held the UK #1 spot for six weeks. If this is the result of some new decision from a Wiki project discussion, you need to cut-and-paste a link to this decision in your edit summary so people understand the reason for this edit. I am in the process of amending a lot of incorrect dates that are in place for the UK number ones. Not all have the editing that you speak of and I am trying to make them have a uniform look whereby they give the date that they reached number one one on and the weeks spent at number one if more than one. You will see that Band Of Gold has been restored to show it was number one for six weeks after the date it reached number one which I think looks tidier than giving the span of time it was number one for.

Removing content from Off the Wall (album)

This edit removed a substantial amount of content from the GA listed article Off the Wall (album), and you marked it as a minor edit. Your other edits appear to be solid, so I assume this was an error. I note, though, that almost all your edits are marked as minor, so I assume you have set minor edits as your default. As minor edits by established editors are usually overlooked by other users looking for potentially damaging edits, it means that such mistakes are not so quickly picked up. It would be helpful if you a) marked your edits by default as standard, and b) reviewed any edits you make to check there are no errors before moving on.
