A beer for you

  A beer on me!
I guess I hurt your feelings. That wasn't my intention. Just remember to assume good faith and stay focused on the content and we'll get on just fine. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 19:46, 17 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
If you want to issue an apology, try putting into practice what you harp at others. This really comes off as an insincere "sorry you're such a crybaby" rather than "sorry about my conduct". If you want to avoid rubbing people the wrong way, try writing less like Breitbart and more like the AP, the put downs and dismissals you insist on using only are a reflection of yourself. Read your own Userpage, you talk about how indifferent to being called as abrasive (rather smugly), but I know deep down there's a nice person who wants to be uplifting, and I hope you find him. I want to be salty, and bitter, and tell everyone about how you embody everything you told me not to do, but a clenched hand cannot let go. So I'll accept your apology, it's the right thing to do. And I genuinely hope you have a good day .GhostJackal (talk) 20:36, 17 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
For reals? You're going to respond with more holier-than-thou bullshit and some (again: hilariously vapid) personal analysis? lol Well, you certainly don't lack confidence in your opinions, I'll give you that much.
But... If it'll make you feel better, I'll apologize explicitly. I'm sorry. I am filled with heart-rending regret at the callousness and indifference with which I treated your delicate feelings. I should flog myself in shame! I am a knave! A jackal! I am lower than a snake, with the morals of a dog! Oh, please forgive, newbie! Please, I prostrate myself at your feet and grovel shamelessly for the briefest glimpse of your favor!!! Oh, do not withhold your forgiveness from me! PLEEEEEAAAAASE FORGIVE MEEEEEEE!!!!!1!1!1!1!1oneoneone
Do you feel better now? I doubt you do. Mostly because apologies are worth as little as the insults, in the long run. The only thing with any value around here are contributions and discussions. There's a link you missed on my page which I strongly suggest you read: WP:DGAF. There's also WP:NAM, which I hope you read before the next time someone says something that hurts your feelings. And I promise you, there will be a next time. Because I can't speak to why you're here, but I can speak for myself and a lot of others when I say we're here to build an encyclopedia. If feelings get hurt in the process, oh well. I hope it brings you some comfort to know that we're just as callous of our own feelings. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 22:01, 17 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
