copyvio? edit

Hi Ghostchild, I again deleted copyvio content from [1] from Psyche (band). Did you write this, or do you have permission to distribute it to Wikipedia? Thanks, and welcome! --Fang Aili 19:07, 2 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh man, I wrote that, and I am the one who has permission.

I'll admit there are some things here I don't understand. Why would anyone want to erase the history, and biography?

There used to be a Darrin Huss page and now it is also gone.

Maybe now you can help me.

I also tried to add the labels Psyche is on, and that didn't work.

yours, Ghostchild 23:17, 2 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've replaced the history section of Psyche (band). I'm not sure why the Darrin Huss page was deleted, but it looks like you've recreated it. Are you Darrin Huss? --Fang Aili 17:49, 3 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Looks good, I'm still learning to wikify, and there's some content about the labels Psyche has been released on missing, but the Darrin Huss bio is back on.

I am writing the biography of his life in Psyche.

Ghostchild 13:20, 5 February 2006 (UTC)GhostchildReply

Cool. I'll be watching Psyche (band) and Darrin C. Huss, just in case they get nominated for deletion or something. Do you own that website that your Psyche bio is on (Gothtronic)? --Fang Aili 04:30, 6 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Gothtronic took the history from the Psyche website. http://www.psyche-hq.de/history.html

Thanks for watching out. I added Darrin's brother here recently cause there is a Tennis player who shares his name. And maybe I can figure out how to get some album artwork into the discography.

If they took it without permission, you can ask them to take it down. They're claiming copyright for it. About images, check out Wikipedia:Uploading images for help. You're allowed to upload low-resolution images of CD covers, e.g. Jethro Tull - Aqualung. --Fang Aili 14:41, 7 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Darrin-live-oldsepia-crop.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Darrin-live-oldsepia-crop.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MBisanz talk 07:26, 19 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification edit

Hi. When you recently edited Psyche (band), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page No More (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Artoffact Records edit

The article Artoffact Records has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, no third-party sources, no significant coverage found via Google News.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 05:48, 11 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is in fact a selfie. I Darrin Huss took this picture of myself with an Optimo camera in 2007. I will do my best to put this info in Wiki language when I have a moment to decipher the requirements. Thanks Ghostchild (talk) 15:06, 20 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Actually, this can be deleted. It's not the file I am using for Psyche(Band) on Wikipedia anyway. I confused it with the one I already gave permission for. Thanks for the heads up.
