Cricket in Canada

edit

Hello Ghoshprashant.51 - I thought I would leave this message for you to help you understand why I've undone your edits. I am not anti-cricket in any way, and in fact I know more about the game than the vast majority of Canadians, because my father was English and taught me a few things. I know the difference between a test match, an ODI and a T20 match, and I know what a yorker is and can almost explain LBW. I follow the Cricket World Cups and I know about the IPL, the Big Bash League and Sachin Tendulkar. But here's the thing - there are few Canadians who know anything about cricket other than people who have immigrated, and some of their children. The whole reason for the Global T20 Canada tournament is to promote the game, but it's only planned to take place at a small club in the countryside north of Toronto. As far as I can tell there will be little or no television coverage, and the tournament is also going to conflict with the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Perhaps cricket will eventually gain ground in popularity up here, but it's far from popular at this point in time. Regards, PKT(alk) 17:12, 5 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted part of your edit to Sport in Afghanistan. You added a link to a non-existent template, you removed references from the first para of the lede without explanation, and your changes also made the lede non-compliant with MOS:BOLDTITLE. --David Biddulph (talk) 23:31, 5 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Sport in Afghanistan, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary.
