For court cases try: McCulloch v. Maryland, Marbury v. Madison, etc... Those should serve as good templates for ya! Womble 21:57, 31 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, so for the case you were talking about, I'd make an article at The Wilderness Society v. US Fish and Wildlife Service, (or maybe Wilderness Society v. US Fish and Wildlife Service). Womble 02:26, 2 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

sorghum edit

edit

Thanks for contributing a large edit to sorghum. I was wondering if you might be able to edit it so it isn't so US centered. Crop growing dates do not correspond around the world and people who read the article in Australia will get wrong info. I'll do some editing but since you wrote it, you are probably the best one to work on this. Also, the planting info needs to be quilified by what kind of sorghum. I would imagine cane, grain, and sweet sorghum do not have the same requirements. Thanks. --Liblamb 17:47, 1 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Plant Lists

edit

Hopefully your eyes won't fall out from staring at mosquito eggs, but if they do, then take a break and look at:

Basically, go through and make sure that the blue links correspond to plant articles, then remove the blue links. Then add new articles for all of the red links... ;-) There's a link to the full-text of the source book at the top of each of the lists, so you can get some basic info from there. The books are all PD sources, so don't worry about copying entire paragraphs, etc... Some info might be out of date, so if you can find confirmation from a second source...

Oh, and check the gutenberg pages to see if there's an HTML version (there often is). That might be easier to read, and could include images that you could include (they're PD) in the Wikipedia article. --Womble 15:03, 6 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Nicevenn

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Nicevenn. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nicevenn. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:16, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Satia

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Satia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.
