There is a need to call things by the terms that are used and understood by the general public. The public do not refer to systems based on the Linux kernel as "GNU"; they call them "Linux". As can be seen from Special:Contributions/Geronimooo, on 02:38, 23 October 2005 (UTC), when Janizary made his/her post, I had only made edits - with this English Wikipedia account at least - to User:Geronimooo, Freenix and Flag desecration. Obviously, Janizary was talking about my edit on Freenix. The reason for my edit was so as to make clear that GNU is a "Freenix", with derivative GNU/Linux. This, because GNU, GNU/Linux, GNU/FreeBSD, et cetera are all part of the GNU family of operating systems. Geronimooo 15:49, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

I don't care what your argument with Janizary is about. Replacing "Linux, GNU/Hurd" with just "GNU" in Unix-like was inappropriate, and rather obviously pushing your minority POV about nomeclature. Please don't do it again. Tverbeek 19:37, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Removing trolling from user talk pages

Please leave other's talk pages alone. Fastfission (talk · contribs) may removing trolling and personal attacks from his talk page if he wishes. There is an ongoing process on the undeletion of Church of Reality, which will reach community consensus on whether it should be undeleted.
