A tag has been placed on George kedge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

Hi. Welcome, again, but see WP:NACTOR for what an actor needs to have achieved before having a Wikipedia article, and WP:Autobiography for why it is not a good idea to write about yourself. You should also read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors, especially the section headed "Your safety and security."
If you are the same person as user Georgeyboi (talk · contribs), please choose one account and stick to that one only, to avoid any suspicion of sockpuppetry. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 15:42, 6 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Enough - please stop

George, you have now created this article about yourself six times, under different names, and it has been deleted each time; also it has been rejected several times at Articles for creation.

By now you should have got the message: sorry, you are not notable enough to have a Wikipedia article.

To explain that: Wikipedia is not a site like Myspace for people to write about themselves: it is a project to build an encyclopedia. That means it is selective about subjects for articles. The standard is called notability and there is a quick guide to it at WP:42 and more detail at WP:Notability (people). You will see from the section WP:NACTOR that an actor needs to have had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions to qualify. Appearing in school plays is not nearly enough.

Your article was neatly presented, and I congratulate you on that, but it is not acceptable, and putting it in again and again is not going to change that. If you put it in again you may be blocked from editing to avoid wasting any more time. JohnCD (talk) 19:18, 7 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for disruptive editing: it seems that you are interested only in posting an article about yourself, despite being told that you are not notable enough to have an article and that autobiography is strongly discouraged. I am blocking you to prevent any more waste of your time and ours. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Your article submission George gordan kedge

edit

Hello Georgeyboi30. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled George gordan kedge.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/George gordan kedge}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. —Anne Delong (talk) 19:20, 24 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
