June 2017 edit

Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 02:59, 3 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:23, 3 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Based on the entirety of your recent edits[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] it appears you are here solely to drive traffic to tollystar.com. In addition, I believe you've been deliberately marking your edits as minor to avoid scrutiny. If this continues after your block expires, tollystar.com will be added to Wikipedia's spam blacklist. George, if you want to have an admin who is not me review your request, you need to use the unblock template above as indicated in the beige box. At UTRS, you wrote:
I was blocked by Cyphoidbomb since I have added reference links to a website called tollystar. I just want to add couple of points here
1. I am in no way related directly or indirectly to that website
2. I am not here to promote that website in any manner
I have added the movie review link of that website, because I am reader of that website. I don't understand why I am blocked for this reason?. I see many other review websites links added in there, and I taught tollystar is putting their film review's honestly without any partiality so I have added it as reference link
if you want to block me for this reason that is fine with me. But if that's the case every other user who are adding reference links to other film websites should also be blocked.
If you feel that everyone who is contributing to the wikipedia is there only for promoting something than I cannot argue with your intelligence. I just hope that wikipedia can do better than this.
I have to say, I just don't buy it. From what I can tell, tollystar.com has existed for a scant 3 months and has zero Twitter followers. I find it highly questionable that 12 days after the site started tweeting and publishing film reviews, you suddenly appear to use this source as your sole resource for financial response summaries and film reviews from that point forward. I don't know. If another admin doesn't have a problem with that weird timing, then I suppose you could be unblocked, although there would be a few important things for you to get up to speed on, like WP:UGC, WP:RS, WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources, and WP:MINOR, etc. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:16, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
