Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Nicaragua Canal may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Captain (rank). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic listed at Redirects for discussion

edit

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. Since you had some involvement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. - TheChampionMan1234 21:42, 13 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Terse nominations (for xfd)

edit

Geo,

I agree with you there, I saw your message on Champ's talk page. That editor does sterling service to Wikipedia, but writing e.g. on RfD "Not especially Arabic" does not help me when I think well is it especially Aramaic or ancient Egyptian or Finnish or what? Which requires a lot of looking up that you already have in your hand before you listed it. I tend to ramble, I know, but I try to provide as much information to other editors so that they don't have to do the homework I have already done.

But when I suggested to another editor, do your homework, I got banned by an admin. Oh that editor was an admin. I assure you Championman1234 has done sterling work at RfD, but I agree occasionally it would be better if the nominations were not as terse. Causes me a lot of homework.

Perhaps we could make a WP:ESSAY over this? Sometimes they end up being policy...

Best to you. Si Trew (talk) 08:58, 16 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
