December 2022 edit
Hi General Lemarc! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. - I apologize. I was not very awake at the time and assumed that my description was sufficient explanation. Having had time to re-examine the article, I can no longer remember my precise reasoning for the deletion, so thank you for reverting it. Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of scholarly publishing stings, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. You deleted text sourced to an expert because you didn’t approve of the viewpoint it presented. That’s not a reason meeting our guidelines and policies Doug Weller talk 10:30, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Socialist Workers Party (United States), you may be blocked from editing. Your recent editing history at ocialist Workers Party (United States) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —C.Fred (talk) 03:01, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message edit
Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

FYI, you don't need to add ~~~~ at the end of every edit summary. You only need to sign after posting on a talkpage or while posting your vote in discussions with other users (e.g. at Articles for Deletion). Best, Prodraxis (talk) 01:01, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
