Welcome!

Hello, Geeknnerd, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!   Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Avalance Global solutions. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Geeknnerd (talk) 21:27, 25 June 2016 (UTC) yes please help me for removal promotional content because this is my first article on wikipediaReply

Promotional edits.

Hello.

First, please stop thanking me for every edit. Once per session is more than enough.

Second, are you Manan Shah (Ethical Hacker), or do you work for Avalance Global solutions? If so, you must declare your conflict of interest. Also, are you connected to Krishtailor? If so, please be aware of Wikipedia's policies on sock puppetry.

Third, Please very carefully take a look at WP:RS, WP:CORP, and WP:NBIO. Here's something that may be helpful:

  • Great sources: In-depth coverage in national or international publications. Substantial discussions in books by reputable publishers.
  • So-so sources: In-depth coverage in local publications. Brief mentions in books by reputable publishers.
    • These are not as good, but may still help establish WP:GNG
  • Very limited use: Passing mentions. Press releases. User-profiles and similar
    • This can be used for details, but do not help establish notability
  • Useless sources: Passing mentions in local sources. "Listicles". Self-publishes sources, such as forums or blogs.

Photos of article which are hosted on Manan's own website are almost useless, because they are hard to verify. The large number of not-good sources you have used makes it look like Wikipedia:Bombardment, which in turn makes it look like you are here to promote something instead of to build an encyclopedia. Do you understand? Grayfell (talk) 21:52, 25 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Geeknnerd (talk) 22:21, 25 June 2016 (UTC) no my name is varun and i m not working for avalance.Reply

and i m not connected with krishtailor...yes i take articles photos from his official website. but yes you are right it's hard to verify.

and can you please help me for removing notice or how can i remove the notice.

The articles should have good sources explaining why they meet WP:GNG, WP:NBIO, or WP:CORP. If you think they do, start a discussion on the talk page and wait a while (at least a couple of days) before removing the templates yourself. Grayfell (talk) 22:34, 25 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Manan Shah (Ethical Hacker)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Manan Shah (Ethical Hacker), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
